Developing Learning Activities for Children:
Tasks that Engage

Speaker: Sabrina Silverstein (SWS Consulting, LLC)

Have you ever known what you want children to learn but struggled with an activity to help them learn it and show evidence of their learning?

Join us to learn about strategies to develop activities for young children that connect to early childhood standards and support linguistic and cultural diversity. The webinar will begin with an introduction to activity development for young children and continue with a focus on how to make activities engaging while scaffolding learning. Sabrina will explore ways to incorporate diverse languages and cultural practices into the activities and show how these learning activities will enable teachers and researchers to determine how much a child has learned and what they need to learn next. Questions from the audience will be discussed at the end of the webinar.
